EKTACOLOR PRO 800 is the same film sold as Portra 800, now released by Eastman Kodak under a new name.
It was made for the hours when daylight is disappearing but the camera is still out. Skin tones stay natural, color stays balanced, and the faster film gives more freedom indoors, in the evening, and around moving subjects.
The grain is more visible than on PRO 400, but it remains controlled and keeps the image from feeling too rough. It is a strong choice for portraits, weddings, concerts, nightlife, travel, and street photography.
